Which blue line is the
longest?
Solution - Both blue lines
are the same length. However, the brain always tries to
interpret what it sees. The left hand image reminds us of the
outside of rectangular object (for example the corner of a
building). The right hand image looks like the inside of a shape
(for example, the corner of a room). Our brain, interpreting the
images differently, imagines they are different sizes..
